Adopt a Dog This Holiday Season in Quincy!

On Saturday, December 20, a festive, family-friendly holiday fundraiser benefiting the Quincy Animal Shelter will take place at Victory Point. Community members are invited to bring their pets and join a joyful celebration in support of animals in need. Guests will also have the chance to meet adoptable dogs and learn more about giving a shelter pet a loving forever home. All proceeds will directly support the shelter's mission of providing compassionate care. This heartwarming event offers a wonderful way to give back while celebrating the spirit of the holiday season.

Quincy Annual Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony

The City of Quincy's Annual Veterans Day Parade will kick-off at 10:30 AM departing from Quincy High School. The parade will proceed up Russell Park to turn right onto Hancock Street. There will be a brief stop at the WWI monument to honor our fallen heroes and place a wreath before continuing onto the WWII Memorial at the corner of Southern Artery and Hancock Street. Following the parade, a ceremony will take place at approximately 11:30 AM to pay tribute to all who have served our nation. Keynote Speaker is: Thomas Lester, US Army Veteran.
