Open Runway - Special Edition

In the spirit of our motto, “Boston fashion is smart,” we’re excited to announce a special edition of OPEN RUNWAY celebrating the power of fashion education.  Downtown Boston Alliance will host the Boston Fashion Week initiative — an open-air fashion show on the DTX Steps in Downtown Crossing* — providing a platform for fashion designers at every stage of their careers, with a focus on student fashion designers. There are 25 designers registered to show! Jay Calderin, the Founder and Executive Director of Boston Fashion Week, and a host panel of industry leaders, Petra Slinkard of Peabody Essex Museum, Keyla Williams of Bogosplit, and local fashionista Evelyn Reyes, will celebrate a diverse collection of unique designs and bold fashion statements created in the Greater Boston region.   The event is FREE and open to the public. Raindate: Friday, September 25, 2026 * 430 Washington Street (at the corner of Washington and Franklin Streets)
