Join internationally renowned sommelier Bertil Jean-Chronberg for a delicious 90-minute experiment in food and wine pairing, built around Portuguese Piri Piri chicken and four contrasting American wine styles. Together, we’ll explore how acidity, fruit, texture, alcohol and sweetness interact with the heat, spice and savory flavors of Piri Piri chicken, and discover why some combinations sing while others simply don’t. There are no intimidating tasting rules and no “wrong” answers. Just 12 guests around the table, four wines, great food and an opportunity to taste, compare, discuss and decide which pairing works best for you.
