An Afternoon of Poetry

Join the New England Poetry Club amidst the beautiful landscape of the Fruitlands hillside for an afternoon of poetry sharing their work in a setting steeped in literary history. Founded in 1915, the New England Poetry Club has long championed poets with ties to the region, offering readings, workshops, and annual contests that celebrate the art of poetry. At this reading we’ll be hearing from three incredible New England poets, Claire Conroy, Kevin Gallagher, and Eileen P. Kennedy. Make a day of it—arrive early or linger after the reading to explore the grounds. You can also deepen your visit by visiting our historic spaces and collection. Learn more and purchase admission here. Admission to the Museum is not included with An Afternoon of Poetry.
